A reflection on guilt/doubt
Nothing rattles our image of the future more than doubt. That we might fail That we might never succeed That the odds are too high can kill our dreams.

For there is much to doubt. Our dream is only a dream. Our hope is only hope. In our mind, our dreams and our hopes may be real, but to the world, to “reality” we find no consideration.

For in spite of our hopes and our dreams, the daily grind of life continues. Those who wish to hurt us, still hurt us. The problems of life still come. And as we dream of a better future, it seems we are being pulled further and further down.

And yet do we remember what we have learned when we doubt? Do we remember the understandings of life, of reality, of awareness? How can these things helps us at a time when every question seems to lead to the darkness of fear?

For if we recall, for a moment, that awareness has no mass, only ideas have mass, ideas are awareness in motion.

Motion is energy, energy is pure idea E=mc2- then we see doubt and fear for what it is- a lack of motion toward our dream.

For what is life without hope and without dreams? The rich will surely die as the poor. But the person who lives a rich life, surely has something most precious.

In life it is the doing that counts, not the end points. In life there are no end points.

That we dare to dream is surely a great gift. That we create is our strength.

To live one crowded glorious hour is worth a lifetime without reason.

So in expelling doubt as we gather motion, let us never lose sight of the beauty of life, of the beauty of living.

That we try, rather than never tried at all is our greatest victory.
